SPRING GENEALOGY CLASSES

You are invited to enroll in one or more of the three genealogical classes to be held on three Saturday mornings this Spring. Presented at the intermediate level (class members should have at least a basic knowledge of and exposure to genealogy to gain full value from these classes), classes will be presented by members of the SSGHS experienced in their topic of presentation. You may sign up for one or more of the classes. Within the capacity of the Library, registration will be on a first come, first served basis. All participants MUST pre-register. No walk-ins can be accepted.

Discovering Living Relatives. Shirley Koelling. Trace living kin for genealogical, probate, reunion purposes, etc. Also useful tips for tracking down classmates for reunions.

Military Records. Donna Work. If you had a relative serve in the military, they probably left a paper trail. Find out how to search for it.

Saturday, April 1, 2017.

When you can’t find your family in the census. Patty Higgins. You searched by name and their birth and where they should be but they don’t appear. Now what?
